OCRACES and OCHEART sign MOU

OCHEART signs MOU with OCRACES

Monday March 2, 2020 was a historic day for OCHEART as we were able to sign a memo of understanding (MOU) with OCRACES to use their repeaters for our weekly nets as well as emergency operations when OCRACES is not activated.

This is important for OCHEART as the county repeaters cover most of the county allowing us to communicate from the hospitals and medical facilities we serve and the rest of the OCHEART members.

 

Participating in the signing ceremony were OCRACES Captain Ken Bourne (W6HK), OCSD Coordinator Peter Jimenez (KI6UTE), ARRL Orange County Section Emergency Coordinator Bob Turner (W6HRK) andĀ OCHEART Coordinator David Gorin (KB6BXD)
